Regan was born and raised in Yarmouth. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Commerce from Mount Allison University in 2013, and his Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2017. Regan articled at Nickerson Jacquard Russell and was called to the bar in January 2018, joining the firm as an Associate.
Regan conducts a general practice in the Yarmouth and surrounding area focusing on Criminal Law, Family Law, Real Estate, Fisheries, Corporate, Wills and Estates and Personal Injury claims.
Regan serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Meadows Home for Special Care in Yarmouth and is a member of the Real Estate Lawyers Association of Nova Scotia (RELANS), the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association (APTLA), the Association des Metis-Acadiens Souriquois (AAMS) and the Association des juristes d'expression française de la Nouvelle-Écosse (AJEFNE).
While in law school, Regan served as the Aboriginal Student Representative on the Board of Directors for the Law Students Society. For all three years, he served on the executive for the Aboriginal Law Students Association. He also served as Co-Chair of the Sports Committee. In 2016, Regan spent four months working as a Senior Law Student at Dalhousie Legal Aid Service in Halifax.
In his spare time, Regan enjoys playing hockey and spending time with his family and their Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
