Upon her admission to the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society in 1972, Ms. Caldwell joined the firm of Irving C. Pink Q.C. in Yarmouth. In 1978 she became a founding partner of Pink MacDonald Caldwell and Warner and continued with that firm under its various succeeding names until it’s dissolution in December of 2001. From January 1, 2002, until June 30, 2012, Ms. Caldwell carried on her own property and probate practice as a sole practitioner. On July 1, 2012, she joined the firm now known as Nickerson Jacquard Russell as Counsel.

During her legal career extending over forty years, Ms. Caldwell has remained active within the Nova Scotia Barristers Society serving several terms on Bar Society Council and participating on a number of key committees; currently, she serves on the Discipline Committee. Ms. Caldwell has also been active in the wider community; she has served on the Boards of the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation, and Acadia University, and is a Past President of The Kritosophian Society. Ms. Caldwell currently serves on the Board of Sunset Terrace.
