Meggie O’Brien was born and raised in Yarmouth. She obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University in 2021, and received her Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law of University of Southampton in 2024. Meggie was awarded with Recognition for her significant pro bono work and commitment of promoting access to Justice in the Southampton Law School Global Legal Clinic.

In her spare time, Meggie enjoys playing tennis, travelling, and going to her cottage on the Tusket Islands with family and friends.

Meggie is currently writing her National Accreditation Exams and working with us as a law student. Upon completion she will be articling with us at Nickerson Jacquard Russell Murphy.
